In this art project, the children have developed their understanding of proportion and shading techniques to create a contrasting tones piece taking inspiration from found sculptures.

Fabric of Nature

In this art project, the children have researched and taken inspiration from the work of William Morris to create large scale repeated patterns which were then recreated onto fabric using batik techniques.

Prehistoric Art

To support our history topic on Britain’s prehistory, in this project the children are developing their understanding of the skills the prehistoric people needed to create cave art. They will learn how natural paints were created and how cave art uses positive and negative prints with bold lines and patterns of dots to represent their experiences.
