Blackrod Primary School, alongside Blackrod Church School, were asked to nominate 4 members of their respective Year 6 classes to represent the Youth of Blackrod at the regular Youth Council Meetings.

At these meetings the members of the Youth Council meet with The Mayor, and members of the local council to discuss issues pertinent to making Blackrod a better place to live for all ages.

Members of the Youth Council sit on the school council and eco council so the work they do can be shared at Youth Council meetings and involve the Blackrod Town council in their work.
