In our computing sessions we have been learning and practising our logging on skills. We have also looked at our own digital footprint as well as finding out how we stay safe online.

Computer Programming

We have been learning about Computer Programming, which is sometimes also known as coding. We talked about computer programs that they have used.

We talked about how coder writes instructions in code for the computer to follow, this is called the input. These instructions make our programs work, our programs are the output.

Air Traffic Control

We have been making planes take off when by dragging codes, blocks of instructions around to make several planes take off when we clicked them or even when we clicked another plane.

Digital Literacy

In Computing this half term we have been looking at Digital Literacy - looking at how to keep safe online. We loved watching the Jessie and Friends clips teaching us that we must always tell a grown up if you get a 'funny feeling in your tummy'. 

Our children have loved being back in the computer suite practising and learning how to log on and off the computers too!
