Slingshot cars

In this design and technology project, the children developed a design brief for a car that was streamlined and air resistant. They then used their design brief alongside developing the skills needed to create a chassis and mechanism to propel their car.

Textiles Cushions (cross stitch and applique) and Fastenings

In this design and technology project, the children have researched and designed a product brief for a cushion. They have then developed the sewing techniques to stencil, decorate and produce an applique designed cushion.

Mindful timer

In this design and technology project, the children have been given a design brief to create a mindful timer for use in the classroom. The children have researched and decided on the requirements of the product and have then used their computing skills to create the coding needed to make a working micro:bit digital timer.
