Design Technology - structures (materials)

We developed our cutting, measuring and finishing skills, creating 3D frames using wood and Jinks triangles. 

Structures - Bridges 

Our topic this half term is to learn all about Bridges, we have looked at the structures of, Arch, Beam and Truss bridges and what their uses are and how they are constructed. During lesson we explored the strength of each design by making our own out of paper, spaghetti and soft wood.
