Our Governing Board play an active part in the life of our school, ensuring the school is run and constantly develops in a way which meets very high standards for our children's learning. 

In December 2011 in the OFSTED inspection, Governors were judged as outstanding in their effectiveness, contributing to the schools remarkable achievement of being judged Outstanding in every area assessed.

We have 3 key areas of responsibility:

1. Strategic vision, leadership, ethos and values - we work with the school, children, parents and local community to identify a strategic plan.

2. Hold the Head Teacher to account and performance management - Providing support and relevant challenge to the school and the leadership team.

3. Ensuring financial value - Working with the school to create a spending plan to support the school's main objectives, ensuring money is well spent and providing benefit to the children.

We will develop our strategic vision with input from children, staff, parents, and the community. Look for engagement activities in the coming months to help shape our school's future.
